Are You Growing Up Too Fast? [Junior High]

Help students understand that the lessons they learn now will prepare them for their future

"I just can’t wait until I’m old enough!" Help students develop the self-awareness and responsible-decision making skills needed to address this statement.

Every season of life has new freedoms and benefits, and sometimes we want to get to those seasons right now without living through the seasons in between. However, every season has a reason! Each stage of life teaches valuable lessons that can be used in the next stage. In this series, Mister Brown reminds students that:

· Every season teaches us new lessons

· We shouldn’t be in a rush to get our training wheels off

· Even if it’s frustrating, taking the time to learn lessons now will prepare us for later

· Every season has benefits and trade-offs

Throughout the videos, students should consider, “Am I Growing Up Too Fast?”
